Key Benefits of FUE:
- No visible linear scarring
- No stitches required
- Shorter recovery time

- Ideal for scalp, beard, eyebrow, and transgender hair transplantation
Follicular Unit Transplantation (FUT)
Traditional Method, Selective Application
FUT, often referred to as the “strip method,” involves removing a narrow section of scalp to harvest grafts. While still effective, this technique is generally reserved for patients requiring a larger number of grafts or those whose medical profile makes them better suited to this approach.
Dr. Saltzburg offers FUT on a case-by-case basis, ensuring that every recommendation is grounded in both medical best practice and aesthetic outcome.
Why FUE Is Preferred Today:
- Less invasive with minimal discomfort
- No linear scar across the donor area
- Faster healing and recovery
- Greater flexibility for future procedures or styling
