It does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it does not create a physician-patient relationship between you and Dr. Lauren Saltzburg, D.O., or any provider affiliated with Pique Vitality.

A physician-patient relationship is only established when: (i) you have completed a formal consultation with Dr. Saltzburg; (ii) she has reviewed your health history and clinical information; (iii) a valid prescription or treatment order has been issued; and (iv) you have entered into a signed treatment agreement with Pique Vitality. Use of this website alone does not constitute the initiation of any clinical relationship.

2. No Guarantee of Outcomes

Individual results from any service, treatment, therapy, or protocol offered by Pique Vitality, including but not limited to hormone therapy, peptide therapy, hair restoration, injectables, laser skin treatments, and women’s health services, will vary based on individual health status, genetics, adherence to treatment, and other factors outside our control.

3. Telehealth Services & Geographic Limitations

Pique Vitality delivers personalized telehealth care to patients across multiple states where Dr. Saltzburg is actively licensed. Patients must be physically present in an eligible state at the time of each consultation and prescription. It is the patient’s sole responsibility to confirm their physical location prior to receiving care. Certain treatments, including some prescriptions, are subject to additional federal and state regulatory requirements and are offered only in jurisdictions where Dr. Saltzburg holds both an active medical license and an active DEA registration.

Patients must be physically present in an eligible state at the time of consultation and are responsible for confirming their location prior to receiving care.
In accordance with state and federal regulations, Pique Vitality reserves the right to modify, restrict, or decline services as required by applicable law. Certain in-person services, including but not limited to surgical procedures, laser treatments, and injectable services, are subject to geographic availability and are provided through Dr. Saltzburg’s clinical partnerships in select locations. Pique Vitality does not operate a physical clinic. Availability of in-person services will be confirmed at the time of consultation.

4. Compounded Medications

Pique Vitality may prescribe compounded medications through licensed 503A compounding pharmacies as part of individualized treatment plans determined by Dr. Saltzburg. Compounded medications are prepared by a licensed pharmacy to meet the specific needs of an individual patient.

Compounded medications are prescribed at the clinical discretion of Dr. Saltzburg based on your individual medical evaluation and are not available as standardized consumer products. The availability of any specific compounded medication is subject to applicable federal and state law, including regulations governing 503A compounding pharmacies.

Section 503A of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (21 U.S.C. § 353a), compounded medications are prepared by a state-licensed pharmacy for an individually identified patient pursuant to a valid, patient-specific prescription issued by a licensed practitioner. Pique Vitality does not purchase, maintain, or dispense bulk drug inventory.

IMPORTANT: Compounded medications are NOT FDA-APPROVED. They have not been evaluated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for safety, efficacy, or manufacturing quality in the same manner as commercially approved drug products. Compounded medications may differ from FDA-approved products in potency, purity, sterility, stability, and bioavailability. The FDA does not verify the safety or effectiveness of compounded drugs.

Compounded medications are prescribed solely at the clinical discretion of Dr. Saltzburg based on each patient’s individual medical evaluation, clinical history, and current medical needs. They are not standardized consumer products and are not interchangeable with FDA-approved drug products. By proceeding with a compounded prescription, you acknowledge and accept the risks associated with medications that have not undergone FDA approval review.

The availability of any specific compounded medication is subject to applicable federal law, including FDCA Section 503A, applicable state pharmacy board regulations in the dispensing state, and any applicable state and federal prescribing limitations. For compounded controlled substances, additional DEA Schedule requirements apply, including valid DEA registration in the prescribing and dispensing jurisdiction.

5. Off-Label Use of FDA-Approved Medications

Physicians are legally permitted to prescribe FDA-approved medications for uses other than those specifically approved by the FDA. This is known as off-label prescribing and is a standard, lawful, and widely accepted practice in medicine. Dr. Saltzburg may recommend FDA-approved medications for off-label indications when clinically appropriate and supported by medical evidence. Off-label prescribing decisions are made at Dr. Saltzburg’s clinical discretion based on your individual health evaluation.

This section applies exclusively to FDA-approved medications. It does not apply to compounded medications, which are addressed separately in Section 4 above. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved and are not subject to off-label prescribing provisions.

Off-label prescribing decisions are made at Dr. Saltzburg’s individual clinical discretion based on your specific health evaluation, documented in your medical record, and subject to your informed consent.

6. Before-and-After Images & Patient Photographs

-and-after photographs displayed on this website are of actual patients who have provided prior written informed consent for their images to be used for educational and marketing purposes. These images represent individual outcomes and are not a guarantee of results. Outcomes vary by patient and are influenced by factors including age, health status, skin type, hair type, adherence to treatment protocols, and individual biology.

Images displayed on this website have not been digitally altered in any manner that would misrepresent clinical results. Pique Vitality maintains written consent records for all patient images used on this website or in marketing materials. Patients may revoke consent for future use of their images at any time by submitting a written request to contact@piquevitality.com.

7. Third-Party Products & Services

Pique Vitality may reference or recommend third-party products, platforms, or services in connection with your care. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, accuracy, or outcomes associated with third-party products or services. References to specific brands or products do not constitute a medical endorsement or guarantee of safety or efficacy.

Any third-party platform or service provider that receives, processes, or transmits patient Protected Health Information (PHI) on behalf of Pique Vitality is required to execute a HIPAA-compliant Business Associate Agreement with Pique Aesthetics LLC prior to any data access. Pique Vitality is not responsible for the independent HIPAA compliance practices of third-party vendors beyond the scope of their executed BAA obligations.

8. Not a Substitute for Emergency Care

If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room immediately. Do not use this website, our contact form, or SMS messaging to communicate a medical emergency. Pique Vitality is a concierge telehealth and aesthetic medicine practice and is not equipped to provide emergency medical care, triage, or crisis intervention.

In the event that Dr. Saltzburg or any Pique Vitality team member identifies signs of a medical emergency during a consultation or communication, they are directed to advise the patient to call 911 and to follow applicable mandatory reporting obligations under Florida and/or applicable state laws.
